BIKINIS & BBQ DOES ROLLIN SMOKE
Rollin Smoke BBQ Review: Big Flavor from a Food Truck Legend
Austin isn’t just about brick-and-mortar BBQ joints. Some of the tastiest bites start out of a trailer, and Rollin Smoke BBQ is proof. They’re dishin’ out smoked meats that rival the big names—without the long waits.
We rolled up bikini-ready, ordered half the menu (because “research”), and made fast friends with the pitmaster. He introduced us to their smokers, where we met Wynonna Judd. True story: the real Wynonna showed up one day, and that’s how the smoker got her name. All we can say is—Wynonna, honey, you showed us what love is - and it’s your brisket and smoked mac + cheese.

What we ordered
Brisket (you know the drill)
Pulled pork
Original sausage
Mac & cheese + spicy slaw (warning: hotter than a hoochie coochie)
Banana pudding and smoked chocolate chip peanut butter cookie
The verdict
This place is criminally underrated. The vibe is pure Austin—laid-back, friendly, and all about the food. Looking for a game-day hangout? Rollin Smoke is inside Chalmer’s in East Austin, and it’s THE spot for Longhorn’s football. Hook ’em!
